I don’t play Albion Online for the only reason they after you buy Albion online, there is a premium subscription where you need to buy or else your advancement is dreadful. They try to justify this by saying other games like Albion online Items won’t even let you play without a subscription an at least Albion online let’s you playwith, but you might not play with Albion online with the handicap you buy without premium, The subscription was created so that players must buy it.
Okay ill fall my ten cents because I played with Albion online and had been ranked 5 it had great potential Albion online play was fun that the idea was great the player base sucked the developers did not intend to drive Albion online considerably farther after release this is by the mouth of the ceo at the time not just my remarks he’d talk to the very best guild leaders and express his look for small adjustments but no big changes where around the corner. It was a cash grab on release. The business dint have that much knowledge and where flip floppy that could be observed how much they drastically changed Albion online in development phases each beta launch was a different game.
To summarise Albion online its a old concept renewed which was refreshing but it feels like it was made for a cell phone and retains all of the cash grab elements which you would expect from a mobile game. I believe your video is set apon obsolete material. Yes Albion online wasn’t intended for solo players. Even though it’s a living ecosystem also the black zone is not just for zergs. Plenty of solo PKers lots of small group play with there. Albion is not for the casual but for the hardcore together with all the time to spend in it.
PvP is in fact a tiny market, appealing almost exclusively to killer/socializers. Attempting to bring in achievers and explorers may increase your player base, but it’s a devil’s bargain. The parallel paths like PvE zones and catch-up mechanics needed to satisfy those non-primary-killers are almost always supplementary rather then free. Stack too many of these systems contrary to the center gameplay loop, and also you risk de-emphasizing or even supplanting it. Soon, your large-scale PvP frontiers have emptied into your arenas and group-on-group situations because it’s quicker progression to grind them ad nauseam.
I played all Betas and approximately 6 months to live release as well and 100% agree on all things. Especially Beta 1 being the best variant. The worst aspect of the fact that Albion online forced large-scale zerg fights, which is fun, but it could not take care of the server load. So many times I would be trying to deploy a skill and nothing was happening but that I was running around Cheap Albion online Silver. Then abruptly, nope, you actually died a minute ago to some hidden attacks from gamers which were not even rendered on your display. That and when the server load kicked you loading between zones only to log in and locate someone had murdered you while you stood there in the zone entrance made me anger stop Albion online.
